Text Messaging for Everyday Chats

Messages - sms text message is a communication app for sending SMS and MMS from Android phones and tablets. It suits people who want more control over everyday conversations than a basic messaging app provides, with support for group chats and shared media.

Send text messages along with photos, videos, audio, contacts, locations, GIFs, emojis, and stickers. The app is also positioned for small-business communication, where scheduled texts and group messaging can help organize routine updates.

Tools for Organizing Conversations

• Sort messages into categories such as transactions, known contacts, unknown senders, offers, OTPs, and unread chats.
• Search through messages and conversations to find specific details.
• Star important messages or archive chats to keep the main inbox clearer.
• Use private chats with password protection and optional notification hiding.
• Filter or stop unwanted spam messages.

Flexible Messaging Features

Messages supports scheduled texts, making it possible to prepare a message for later delivery. It also includes message translation across more than 40 languages, plus backup and restore tools for SMS and MMS. Appearance options include a dark theme, adjustable font size, and customizable swipe actions for conversations.

The app supports 25 interface languages and includes features intended to keep communication available after phone calls end. These options make it suitable for personal messaging as well as basic team or customer communication.
